Solar system installation in the Sharon region

with Rotem Energy

There are plenty of good reasons to build a solar system in the Sharon region, whether you own property in one of the moshavim (a farmstead, a private house, a storage building, a shop and so on) or you live in Kfar Yona or in the city of Netanya, where you can earn an extra 6 agorot for every kWh your system produces.

At Rotem Energy we have extensive experience building systems of every type across the Sharon, and our clients enjoy a passive income with a 25-year commitment from the Israel Electric Corporation.

Our offices are at 4 Arie Regev Street, the new industrial zone, Netanya.

Solar systems in the Sharon

As mentioned, we have built dozens of commercial and residential solar systems across the Sharon, among them in Kfar Yona, Netanya, Beit Yitzhak, Kfar Yedidya, Even Yehuda, Ramat HaSharon, Kfar Vitkin and more.

Rotem Energy’s installation, modeling and management teams are our own in-house crews – experienced professionals whose goal is to maximize the income you earn from your solar system.

With us you get close support from the first site survey, through the entire process, all the way to full monitoring of the system after installation – plus professional customer service for any question that comes up long after the installation is done.

Have you heard about the urban premium?

If your property sits in an urban area that appears on the list of cities eligible for the urban premium, you get a tariff bonus of 6 agorot for every kWh your system produces – a benefit worth roughly 12.5% extra.

Residents of Netanya, Herzliya, Hadera, Kfar Yona and other places in the Sharon are eligible for the urban premium. Note that for a residential system producing up to 22.5 kW, every kWh your system produces and sells to the electric company earns 54 agorot instead of 48. The benefit applies to commercial solar systems as well; the difference is in the tariff the electric company pays per kWh produced.

There are many areas in the heart of the Sharon, and across the region generally, where owners of farms, storage buildings, cattle sheds and poultry houses have already gone ahead and built profitable commercial solar systems with us – systems that are good for the environment too.

Specific advantages of a solar system in the Sharon region

Specific advantages of a solar system in the Sharon:

Long hours of daylight, both on private homes in the moshavim and on apartment-block roofs that can take a solar system – thanks in part to sensible building approvals, in Netanya for example, which leave wide gaps between buildings so that one rarely shades another during most daylight hours.
Winter rain that washes the solar panels and helps them generate more electricity.
The urban premium for anyone installing a solar system in an eligible city, such as Kfar Saba, Ra’anana, Netanya, Kfar Yona and other towns in the Sharon.
Fast installation and minimal red tape from the authorities for residential systems that go through the green route.
Access – solar panels have to be brought to your property by truck and crane before installation, and in the Sharon reaching properties is far easier than installing in the Golan Heights or other remote, mountainous places.
Fast, available service from the Rotem Energy team.
Experience – we are proud of the large, satisfied client base we have across the Sharon: many homes and businesses here are already earning a passive income from their solar system.
